During the first half of 2020 (H1 2020), total cargo turnover in the leading Polish ports (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Szczecin-Świnoujście) decreased by 9.94% compared to H1 2019. This is the most severe drop since 2012. The main reason for the decreased turnover is the decline in Poland«s international trade caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
