Port Monitor. Cargo turnover in Top 10 Baltic ports in 2020. Slight drops despite pandemic
In 2020, the Top 10 Baltic ports handled almost 450 mil tonnes of cargo, which indicates a one-digit decrease in comparison to 2019 (-5.6% yoy).
Among the Top 10 Baltic ports the leading position is occupied by Russian ports: Ust-Luga, St. Petersburg and Primorsk – their total cargo throughput accounts for 50% of the total volume handled by all analysed seaports.
