The total cargo turnover in three largest Polish ports (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Szczecin-Świnoujście) has reached lowest volumes in 3 years during the first quarter of 2020 (1Q 2020). Transhipments fell by 6.9% compared to 1Q 2019 (Fig. 1). The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic was limited and mostly marked on the container market.
